His first wife died from a brain tumor in 1990. He decided to redirect his career to financial planning in 1993. He and his new wife purchased the Money Concepts Franchise for Kelowna and maintained the operation until the name Money Concepts was sold in 2013. Under the new brand of Ingenium Financial Services, he and his partner directed their business to focus solely on investment management.
In 2016 they started researching the Exempt Market service providers because they saw a need to expand their service offering to include Private Equity offerings to align their client portfolios more closely to what was happening with the large pension funds in the country.
We chose Pinnacle because we felt that their values were similar. As a dealer representative, Bruce takes the time to understand the products that Pinnacle places on its shelf. In that way, he can provide the best value to his clients through a thorough understanding of the risks and benefits of each offering.
We believe our business model is unique within the industry. Together with his business partner, Bernie Ziemer, they meet with clients together. This approach allows one of them to always be listening to our clients’ needs and concerns. They appreciate that we are always vigilant, ensuring that each client has a clear and concise understanding of what is happening with their investment portfolio. We are their trusted advisors.
A typical day involves meeting with or speaking to clients regarding changes that are happening with their individual circumstances and how those changes impact on their investing decisions and opportunities. We take the time to listen to our clients’1 needs and provide them with the best advise we can. That advise is based on the combined knowledge that Bernie and I have accumulated throughout our varied careers.
