Bill comes from a farming and ranch background in the Southern Alberta community of Rosemary. His plan was to continue in agriculture after his time at the University of Saskatchewan. However Bill had a great opportunity to work with Farm Credit Corporation. Two years later another opportunity came along and Bill chose to join Cooperative-Trust Company Ltd. initially administering the Veterans Land Act (VLA Loans) for the Trust Company within the Province of Saskatchewan. Soon, Bill took on other challenges of residential and commercial lending, within the local branch, but in short order he moved up to Head Office, providing administrative and technical support for the trust company’s lending division.
Following several transfers within Cooperative Trust Company, Bill was appointed to focus on the trusteeship services and the company’s financial services division, assisting all branches with administrative and technical detail, which included many seminars for company staff, clients and company stakeholders.
Between these two terms at the Corporate or Head Office level, Bill managed several departments and Branches in western Canada.
Following 29 years at Cooperative Trust Company, Bill joined a national mutual fund company and during the next 11 years built a respectable portfolio of mutual fund and insurance clients. During his time in the mutual fund industry, there was significant volatility in the public market. Clients became concerned, asking what other investments might be available with respectable returns.
Following some research, Bill chose to enter into the Private Market (Exempt Market). Now a number of years later, Bill has developed a significant client base, who invest in the private/exempt market as well as the public markets.
To learn more about Pinnacle, the Private/Exempt market and current offerings, Bill would enjoy having a conversation/coffee with you. Simply give him a call. (20200807)

Pat has spent over 30 years teaching and coaching people how to achieve financial freedom- through his self-owned business. He has successfully helped many to do this in over a half dozen countries from Canada and the USA as well as throughout Asia and Europe.
While he has found much satisfaction helping people create personal portfolios, he has been acutely aware that many successful business owners (and Professionals) know how to “work for money” but they are sadly lacking the time and personal coaching to gain the “financial intelligence” to learn how to make “money work for them”. The net effect is that he sees many people build financial freedom but have no time freedom.
Pat feels that Pinnacle provides a tremendous opportunity to the perfect platform to take their financial gains from business and begin creating multiple streams of ongoing income. Pinnacle provides the tools to help teach that missing financial education as well as a way to diversify their portfolios through the many products on the Pinnacle shelf.
To Pat, being part of Pinnacle perfectly complements his passion to help people develop long term Personal Freedom of both Time and Money.
Pat & his wife, Rena are avid sailors. They own a yacht that is kept on Wabamun Lake and any day there is a good wind and warm weather, that is where you will find them cruising or racing with others. A perfect vacation for Pat & Rena is sailing with friends in the British Virgin Islands or any warm destination… which they do every winter. (20200807)

Ryan had hoped to become an academician, but he accepted that this goal would not be achieved while completing his masters degree. He started his professional work as a trainer in a call centre, where he learned (and taught) the basics of customer service. His work in telephony gave him the opportunity to transfer his skills to financial sales once he gained employment in F/X. Following that, Ryan had an opportunity to complete the EMP while working for a company that was a related-party to a mortgage investment corporation. Ryan chose Pinnacle because it is the market leader in Western Canada, and arguably one of the top in the country.
Ryan helps his clients achieve their financial goals in a way that is unique to every individual investor. Ryan is successful because he understands that each client's perception of (and tolerance for) risk is different, in the same way that each person is different. His ability to understand those individual differences and customize solutions for every specific client is what sets him apart from his competitors. Ryan also enjoys learning about and understanding new products, because he really enjoys explaining them and teaching others about them.
Ryan's clients enjoy working with him because he takes a very thorough approach when he explains the potential outcomes of an investment. Ryan is adept at understanding each client's unique macroeconomic sentiment and tailoring customized investment strategies that conform to their perceptions of the market. Ryan's clients appreciate the fact that he is hard-working and responds to all inquiries promptly.
Ryan started his career in finance as a Corporate Currency Trader and that helped him to learn how to interpret macro-events and their effects on the markets in general. He was trained in advanced option-based hedging strategies as he advanced to the role of Corporate Foreign Exchange Dealer. His experience with alternative investments was enhanced as he worked with private mortgage investors, where Ryan assisted with risk management and asset management decisions.
Ryan enjoys all styles of North American football and is an Edmonton Eskimos' season ticket holder. Ryan is also working towards the CFA and CAIA designations, so he spends a lot of time studying for those. Ryan's dream vacation would involve traveling to the NCAA college football championship game if the University of Notre Dame were a competitor. Naturally, it would be better for him if they were also to win that game; however, the privilege of seeing the game live and in-person would be satisfaction in itself.

William has always enjoyed working with people and strives to help them reach the peak of their financial success. He has a passion for helping people understand and grow their wealth and takes great pride in knowing a product or service inside and out before offering it to a client. William's interest in the financial industry began in 2008, starting with a personal investment in mutual funds. In 2009 he attained his life insurance and accident and sickness licenses. He also took several business classes from McEwan University, adding to his knowledge of the industry.
William got involved with Pinnacle Wealth Brokers in 2015 because he wanted to be able to offer his clients more than what was available with traditional public market investments. Through these exempt market channels he is able to help his clients diversify their investments in the private markets.

Before coming into financial services William gained experience in the service industry, most recently as a bartender, allowing him to increase his communication skills with a wide variety of people.
When William is not working, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends. He is involved in the community and spends a few hours a week volunteering at the Mosaic Centre in Edmonton, and as a counselor for a boys club at his church.
